  1. National Night Out

    Event Starts: October 02, 2018

This year, we are trying to have the entire neighborhood participate in National Night Out. Last year The Reserve participated and received positive feedback. With so many new neighbors, this would be a great opportunity to get outside and mingle. We will be looking for block captains to help promote and organize.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. Neighborhoods across the nation host block parties, festivals, cookouts and various other community events.

As you know, weeds can invade and thrive in all types of environments. The first step in controlling these weed pests is to correctly identify the weed and then determine a proper control strategy. Herbicides are available that will control most common lawn weeds but they must be used correctly for successful weed control. Check with your local nursery for best results. When possible, take a weed sample with you to ensure that you are purchasing the correct product for your weed problem.
